I haven't yet looked at the rest plugin in great details as I didn't think I would need to until much later but the situation with search needs urgent addressing so I'm looking at the fastest route to implement / integrate a search engine via an api.

So i've got a few questions and would appreciate your response:

1. Can this plugin expose listings, listings attributes assigned to listing via Attributes plugin, listing geo-location data via the api? Reads are intended here, no writes.

2. Can this plugin be used to expose and extend the search function via api requests and responses? If not, would you consider adding this capability as it would open up a world of search options and features? We just need to expose the search function here.

3. Does this plugin support caching of any type?

1) you can get search results based on your inputs. Not sure what are all the details, can be tested on demo
2) probably yes as it basically leverage search functionality withou printing data into search page
3) No cache as of now.
