(Completed) Font Awesome 4.6.3 update to Font Awesome 5.4.1

Hello I am using Zara Premium Theme 1.2.9, and I want to change icon.
I want to use fa-cat, fa-dog, etc. these are included in fontawesome-free-5.4.1.
but in Zara version 1.2.9 is used Font Awesome 4.6.3.
is it possible to change this? if so which files do I have to change?

FontAwesome v5 and higher are basically paid, there is only limited set of icons for free accounts, for this reason we do not plan to update icons.
You can remove linkage to existing fontawesome in head.php and add your own.
